In the last article, we saw a feature of background blur and Image. But, Yesterday, I was working from a different laptop, which is a bit old (may be a decade old ) and I couldn’t find the effects or options to change the background.
Then, after few analysis, found that, this option is based on your hardware configuration as well.
The blur option or change the background is basically to identify the person or the first object near to the camera and the rest all vectors should be changed. For that, Microsoft is using the Advanced Vector Extension 2 (AVX2) graphics. And one more thing which we need to know is, the blur at runtime involves more CPU Utilization. The option is based out of chipset used as well.
Hence, if you are using Linux (at least as of today) or Old laptops with Windows, and didn’t find any option about the background effect, don’t worry. That’s the expected behaviour and Microsoft will come up with a fix quickly.
Happy Coding,
Sathish Nadarajan.
